Schoeller Allibert UK, a leading manufacturer and supplier of recyclable, reusable and returnable transit packaging, has appointed a new area sales manager for Scotland.

Charlotte Coghill has joined the company as it seeks to enhance engagement with manufacturers, retailers, warehouse and logistics operators in the country.

In her role, Charlotte is responsible for acquiring new business leads within Schoeller Allibert’s core markets, including retail, beverage, food processing, warehouse automation, chemicals and pharmaceuticals. She is also focused on further developing relationships with existing customers in Scotland and securing new commercial opportunities for the company’s strong portfolio of packaging products.

Commenting on her appointment, Charlotte said: “We have a tremendous opportunity to grow the Schoeller UK business in Scotland. The implementation of the Deposit Return Scheme in Scotland in 2022 presents us with some exciting new prospects, while I will also be focusing on strengthening relationships with existing customers.

“Supply chains have significant challenges presently. At Schoeller Allibert we are committed to supporting customers in any way that we can to ease bottlenecks and take some of the strain. It’s certainly a pivotal time to be joining Schoeller Allibert, a company that can play such a crucial role in optimising supply chain efficiency and performance.”
