Affordable Golf Ltd, one of the UK’s leading online golf retailers, has teamed up with Optiseller to drive more sales to its eBay store.

The golf retailer was established over 20 years ago in Scotland, with the primary goal of making golf affordable to everyone regardless of skill and experience. The golf specialist was in a strong position on eBay but was looking for an effective way to review and grow their store further. They reached out to Optiseller to help them to grow visibility and increase sales through Optiseller’s 12-week programme which enhanced both their knowledge and store performance.

Chris Cook, Senior Marketplace Growth Specialist at Optiseller, explains: “It’s been great to work with a really engaged team who want to better their performance on eBay. Over the three months working with Affordable Golf, we saw tremendous results through our work together which I know the team are keen to build upon and continue to grow on the marketplace.

“We took Affordable Golf back to basics and focused on delivering consultative advice. The aim was to significantly enhance their search visibility both on the marketplace and in search engine results, which I’m glad to say we have achieved.”

Affordable Golf saw some impressive results compared to their year on year performance:

– 6% increase in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) worth £22k.
– 33% increase in completed item specifics, driving more visibility for listings.
– 279% increase in Organic Impressions.

Aleksandra Chomicz, eBay Manager at Affordable Golf, comments: “It was a pleasure working with the Optiseller service team. Optiseller’s Scaling Programme helped us to understand where we had to improve to achieve greater visibility on eBay. The programme is a great solution for everyone who needs to improve their marketplace business performance.”
