Teamwork Commerce, a leading provider of retail management solutions, has today announced that it has now raised over $200,000 in total towards Ukraine relief efforts, following its recent event, ‘I Care for Ukraine’, hosted in Querétaro, Mexico. The event follows a number of initiatives hosted by the business, contributing to company efforts.

Teamwork Commerce organized ‘I Care for Ukraine’, a music and art event, to support people affected by the war in Ukraine. The event was organized in collaboration with La Fabrica and Moser Cafe, a location dedicated to art, design, culture, and food to host the event.

Ricardo Castañón, LATAM Director of Teamwork Commerce said: “Since Teamwork was born, Ukraine has been the homeland of more than 250 of our employees. This event was really significant for us and for the Ukrainian people during this humanitarian crisis. We are happy to see the tremendous support we received from everyone.”

Olena Levchenko, representative of the Ukrainian community in Mexico, and her foundation, were also part of the event, and contributed art pieces and clothes to sell.

The activities of the event included an art bazaar, drinks, canapes, and great music from Dandelion, and Acoustic Kats, two Mexican bands that donated their time to the cause, as well as Serhii Taftai, a native Ukrainian group that performed the national anthem.

The venue, decorated with Ukrainian flags, traditional Ukrainian art, and sunflowers sponsored by Concepto Floral, offered a great place to spend the Sunday with family and contribute to the cause. Shirts and art printings were also on sale. The designs were created by the artists Alonso Bravo, Renata Martinez, and Ivanna, and Publicaciones 4009 took care of the printing.

Alonso Barrera, the owner of La Fábrica, commented: “Teamwork’s initiative was an amazing opportunity to contribute to the cause and bring art and support together. We are very happy that the Mexican and Ukrainian community come together to support our Ukrainian brothers and sisters who need our help.”

‘I Care for Ukraine’ follows a recent number of events hosted by Teamwork Commerce for Ukraine relief efforts, having earlier this year hosted a ‘Sound of Fashion’ event in London, UK, and ‘Cocktails for Kyiv’ in Florida, US.
