Leading printing firm Henderson Print has unveiled a fresh new vision that reflects the future of the company as it supports a growing customer base.

Henderson Print has been supplying quality printing to a loyal client base for over 30 years. Established in Mallusk, Newtownabbey in Northern Ireland, Henderson Print offers a complete range of professional printing services to a variety of industry clients, from convenience and forecourt retail, hospitality, travel, design, office and corporate supplies, and bespoke items for event and media agencies.

The business currently employs 27 staff with intentions to grow this number in 2023. Five office staff and over fifteen on the production floor, the complete print house has a team working on pre-press, print machines, and in the finishing department with five inhouse designers.

Over the past 18 months Henderson Print has invested on the latest print technology to increase the range of work it can do and further enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.

Sustainability is also a priority, and the company ensures all products produced are recyclable including overbags for outside stores.

Further investment is planned for 2023 in new stitching machinery and growing the number of machines inhouse.

Together with a continued investment in the growth and development of its print offering, Henderson Print is at the forefront of print technology. State-of-the-art printing and cutting machines and a highly skilled team, produce competitive and high-quality products, with excellent service and efficient lead times.

Operations Director Darren Nickels recently took over responsibility for the business as it gears up for growth. He said: “I am hugely excited about taking on the responsibility of Henderson Print as my remit will be to lead the next phase of growth. There are a host of opportunities in the convenience and forecourt market, and I can see the potential for Henderson Print to achieve further growth and success.

“Our growth plans are ambitious, but we remain grounded and focused on delivering quality products at extremely competitive prices for our loyal customers. We have an excellent team of skilled people who bring together a wealth of experience and knowledge, and understand what retailers need and the speed at which they need things.

“In terms of how we tailor our products for convenience and forecourt stores, the range of work in-house is staggering. We manufacture POS packs including overbags and outside banners for the road and forecourts, all instore signage including bunting, hanging signs, shelf edge labelling, wobblers, instore menus, bus-stops, leaflets, magazines, etc. We also print for corporate requirements including event props, media props and pull up banners.

“We offer an extensive range of print services as one of the most complete print houses in the business. We are completely self-sufficient with a pre-press department, who are also qualified as designers. If a business comes to us looking for a new concept or any project, we can take them through the process from design right through to print, product finish and delivery. We cover all the bases including large format products and can also offer a fully bespoke service.”

Olivia Hummel, Marketing Executive at The Merchant Hotel Belfast, has been working with Henderson Print for over ten years. She said: “Henderson Print are fantastic; they are my go-to printing company for exceptional quality and a personal level of service. They are always on hand to offer advice on what might be the best possible product for The Merchant Hotel, which ensures they deliver a first-class service and a first-class product in the agreed lead times.”

Bronagh Luke, Head of Corporate Marketing at The Henderson Group, added: “I have worked with Henderson Print for 27 years. We are a very busy Marketing department and are in daily contact with the team. We use Henderson Print for a variety of products. These include our letterbox leaflets, POS kits for retail stores including all of our displays, products, signage, posters, etc.

“I also work on events, including sponsorship, which requires pull up banners, pitchside and large size banners for different environments. In my 27 years working with Henderson Print I have never been let down by their sales, design, floor and finishing teams. The whole service is so friendly, speedy and efficient.”

Nickels concludes: “Any company across the UK with print requirements has the assurance that they will receive a one-on-one service from our sales team, and the confidence that they are working with a large company who are always producing innovative ideas of which they too can avail.

“We take great pride in what we do, and we will continue to evolve in order to futureproof our business as we anticipate the needs of our growing customer base. We are a forward-thinking printer, delivering cost effective but premium products tailored to convenience and forecourt retailers. The investment we have made will enable us to increase workflow, efficiency and overall productivity to feed market demand.”
