SHOPLINE - a leading global commerce platform - is a brand constantly striving to deliver innovative, future-proof solutions, empowering brands around the globe to effectively achieve operational and cost efficiencies.

Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Singapore, the SHOPLINE platform powersover 600,000 ecommerce brands world-wide. Since expanding into the UK in 2023, SHOPLINE has rapidly established a presence in the market and forged strong customer relationships with a number of eCommerce brands including InTheStyle and ChiChi London. This commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation, and delivering value to brands and merchants, was demonstrated in its inaugural Re-Imagine Summit in London, bringing together over 300 eCommerce leaders and retailers who are redefining the industry.

Hosting a range of insightful panel discussions from industry experts including InTheStyle, Everything5Pounds and Mastercard, on key commerce trends and challenges. Of those discussions, one highlight that visitors took away from the event was from its latest launch: a B2B commerce solution that enables merchants to enhance their direct to business and wholesale commerce offerings.

Enhancing the B2B Buying Journey

The B2B buying experience remains fragmented for many businesses, with challenges such as limited access to accurate information, a lack of transparency, and inadequate digital capabilities throughout the buying journey. SHOPLINE’s B2B solution, introduced by James Cowie, a senior solutions architect, showcased a wide array of advanced features and capabilities that includes:

  • SAAS powered product catalogue – enabling brands to repurpose B2C or Direct-to-Consumer product data in bulk at the touch of a button
  • SAAS powered product data – enabling customers to access and download product images and information quickly
  • Drag and drop product features – enabling users to restrict or prioritise key products
  • Personalised customer accounts – Organisations can specify the terms in which business customers can access catalogues, as well as which approvals to automate
  • Bespoke pricing & terms – easily offer custom pricing based on customer needs, shipping requirements, minimum order quantities payment terms, and more
  • Simplified stock management – Users choose which stock to allocate to their B2B customers, individually or universally
  • Replenishment reorder – Customers can automate their replenishment orders with ease

As a solution focused SaaS platform, SHOPLINE provides a comprehensive solution for B2B commerce sales.

Discussing the challenges of B2B sales in a panel session at Re-Imagine, Sanjay Patel, CEO of Enlighten Smiles, and Oliver Cole, Managing Director, Masters247- both of whom have already adopted SHOPLINE B2B - explored the benefits of the bespoke B2B solution. The platform’s ease of use, flexibility and ability to easily integrate modern B2C strategies into a B2B setting are key factors behind how the technology is enhancing their operations. The panel, which also included Paul Tough, CEO, Stratagems, andChloe Thomas, CEO, eCommerce Masterplan, explored how companies are continually seeking to increase revenues. This, importantly, can be achieved without increasing Pay per Click spend, by adopting a B2B or omnichannel business model.

Both B2B and omnichannel growth with a focus on social commerce were trending topics.

A View of the Future

Among the hype of the B2B launch, Re-Imagine explored a range of other evolving topics within eCommerce. High profile brands, such as Mastercard took part in insightful sessions, offering their view on the sector. From the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the impact it will have on enhancing personalisation through data and customer intelligence, to the impact of social commerce and its influence over eCommerce sales, and more.

Guest speaker, Ellie Simmonds, former British swimmer and Paralympic gold medalist, concluded the event with an in-depth discussion about the importance of failure and her work as an ambassador for WaterAid, and the launch of DEWEY, a new fashion label for people 5ft tall and under.

Deepak Anand, General Manager, UK, stated: “Re-Imagine was a huge success for us. We heard from some amazing speakers who are pushing the boundaries of eCommerce innovation, and it presented a fantastic opportunity to network with customers, partners and new connections.
“Our B2B Commerce solution enables merchants to deliver a much more sophisticated buying experience to their customers - an important feature as we see business increasingly move towards a more consumer-like approach to their purchasing behaviour. It is designed to fit the needs of the merchant’s business, enabling growth across sales channels and markets.”
