ArrowXL, the UK’s largest and longest established two-person home delivery specialist, has announced a significant expansion of its operational capabilities with the acquisition of five new yard shunters. This investment marks a strategic move aimed at enhancing efficiency and scalability in ArrowXL's logistics operations.

The vehicles were delivered to the Worcester depot where they will be distributed across the ArrowXL UK sites. The trucks liveried in ArrowXL colours are equipped with state-of-the-art features designed to maximize manoeuvrability and operational flexibility.

Working in partnership with William Gilder Group, the Gloucestershire based haulage contractor, the AXL Operations Team commissioned a bespoke specification following a consultation process with their drivers, to include external and internal lighting for added safety when operating at night.

Kevin Bliss, Transport Department Manager at William Gilder Group commented: "It was a pleasure to work with the ArrowXL team. They had a very clear idea of what needed to be included on the trucks which made it easy for us to ensure they were fit for purpose. We look forward to working with Arrow in the future, to ensure their fleet infrastructure will continue to support their growing customer demand.”
Ian Pearson, Procurement Manager at ArrowXL added: "As a customer centric business our investments are always driven by improving service quality. These new vehicles will strengthen our ability to handle increasing volumes of deliveries effectively, and will help us to maintain our position as a leader in the logistics industry."
