James and James Fulfilment included within FEBE Growth 100 list – recognising the UK’s 100 fastest growing founder-led private companies

James and James Fulfilment, a provider of outsourced fulfilment services to online retailers, is pleased to announce it has been listed within the inaugural FEBE Growth 100. The initiative recognises and ranks the UK’s 100 fastest growing private businesses with founders still actively involved.

Co-founded by Charlotte Quince and John Maffioli, the list was born out of a desire to reinstate the true meaning of entrepreneurship, by focusing on the founders behind incredible businesses, as well as a frustration with current corporate business awards and lists, which they felt needed a shakeup. Therefore, the aim of the FEBE is to reinvigorate the award scene with authenticity and dynamism, culminating in a definitive list that celebrates the incredible achievements of some of the country’s leading entrepreneurs.

Further, following the COVID pandemic, which posed unprecedented economic and emotional challenges for founders across the country, the FEBE Growth 100 recognised 100 of the UK’s founders who have led, and continue to drive their businesses, to deliver significant sales revenue and consistent profit. To be eligible for inclusion, FEBE Growth 100 businesses must be UK registered, independent, unquoted, and an ultimate parent company, meeting the following criteria: sales between £3m and £200m; trading for at least three years; an operating profit in the latest financial year; and founder(s) must still be involved.

The ultimate ranking of 100 was data-driven too. Companies were ranked by compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in sales over the last two financial years. Businesses were initially selected by either nominating themselves or through organisations contacting them directly, as well as by accessing publicly available financial information.

James Hyde, Founder of James and James Fulfilment says: “It is fantastic to be recognised by the FEBE Growth 100. Over the last couple of years we have invested in our UK HQ, infrastructure and team; expanded our European and US operations; and we were awarded a Queen’s Award for International Trade. Daily, we’re enabling the eCommerce brands that we represent to execute their fulfilment cost-effectively. This includes rebalancing supply chains for some; helping brands to understand, simplify and automate some of the complexity associated with trading in a post-Brexit world; and for others it means demonstrating the value that technology plays within supply chain management.”

The top 10 companies making up the FEBE Growth 100 in 2022 are: Clear Junction, Passenger Clothing, Tripledot Studios, The Skinny Food Co, Microdot, Lounge Underwear, Sunamp, Bold Security Group, Lucy Locket Loves, and Glencar Construction, with Snag Tights, Ooni, and Huel making appearances in the wider list.
